General notes:
This is a great product about an important, but often overlooked subject. You’d think that most of it is common sense. However, I’ve seen just about every embarrassing situation described here.
The name “Street Smart Networking” reminds me of Kathleen Gage’s Street Smart Marketing. Depending on the audience, this may or may not be a problem.
The project completely lays out a great system for personal, offline contacts.
I love that the bonuses are actual interviews of people who we all might want to approach at some point in our career. Each person details what makes them take notice and what offends them. These interviews are a perfect match for the main material.
The transcriptions of the interviews are a little rough in spots. Words are either mistaken or misspelled in some cases. The spacing and attributions are not always right. However, I don’t think this detracts from the information.
I really like that the transcripts are there. I’m a verbal learner and am not crazy about the audio/video craze. I do appreciate that some people really like listening to the training. I think it’s great that this product includes both.
Does she recommend us mailing to our list?
Yes, this is definitely quality information.
I especially appreciated the parts about preparation and followup. Those are probably the most important pieces.
I learned more from the bonuses because I may be meeting those specific people (Rachel!). I’ve been doing live events for longer than Rachel has been alive, so I know most of that. However, because I’ve seen so many people mess up, I think it should be required reading for anyone attending their first 100 or so events. (After that, they should have it down. LOL)
Yes, I do think it’s very worthy of being recommended to her list.
