What a difference a week can make.
Last week at this time, I was worrying about mainly two things.
One I had was about Product Drop, because Clickbank was giving me
some problems about approving the site. The other was about my
health.
Today I’m not worrying about either issue, the Clickbank approval
came on Monday, and the other one is being taken care of.
The book that Rachel and I co-authored officially launched after
some definite issues in the beginning, and although it only reached
#4 on the Amazon best seller list for the paperback, it did reach
#1 for the Kindle version, so thank you for those that supported us.
Now I’m planning a couple days off this weekend, which I’m really
looking forward to. The weather forecast is not so awesome, but no
big deal (I heard a possibility of 3 to 6 inches of snow tomorrow,
but I think it will be coming after I get to where I’m going
anyway).
And for those of you who celebrate it, or have sites around it,
Happy Halloween! It used to be so much more fun when our kids were
young, but it’s still sort of cool to see the little ones trudging
up the steps with their bags held out proudly.
Life is good, and getting better, and I hope it’s the same for you.

Notable news:
A couple weeks ago I mentioned that Product Drop was coming out
soon, and that until it launched on Clickbank, I’d offer lifetime
access licenses to Earn1KaDay members.
I haven’t sent out the offer to any of my other lists, as I want to
leave as much money on the table for contributors and affiliates as
possible, to share in recurring revenues.

By the way, if you’re interested in contributing some products, there
are some definite incentives to do so (some of which I haven’t even
officially announced yet). Only products that you personally create
will be accepted (in other words, no resell rights or PLR stuff).
So contact me if you’re interested in learning more.
Anyway…
As mentioned above, the Clickbank approval has been given, for
price points of $37, $47, and $57 per month. The launch price will
be $37/month, and after 500 members are on board, it will rise to
$47, then after another 500, it will go to $57.
I haven’t decided if I’ll consider the 500 member limit to be new
members, or whether to include the 100+ members that have already
joined before the Clickbank launch.
I’m actually not worried about the price increases scaring off
customers, because those who are in our target market are IM’ers
who typically spend over $50/month on infoproducts anyway (which is
actually the majority of IM’ers, according to a survey we did a few
months ago).

More outside contributors are coming on board every week, and I
haven’t even started worrying about going after the bulk of them
yet, outside the Earn1KaDay members.
I did a count yesterday, and already, prior to launch, there are
108 products which members can download as soon as they join. I
don’t know the average price of a product, but let’s say it’s only
$10 (I suspect it’s a lot more), that means that new members will
get over $1000 worth of products for their first $37.
Some of the products inside Product Drop area also inside Earn1KaDay,
but most aren’t.
Additionally we have new products being added at the rate of more
than 1 per day, and soon I suspect around 100 new products per
month, which is my goal in order to maximize the customer retention
rate.
Who would cancel a site where they get 100 fresh products a month,
95% of which you won’t find on any resell rights site on the ‘net?
I’ve been asked the question a few times, how will this affect the
download area of Earn1KaDay?
The answer is… it won’t. Product Drop will focus on products that
typically aren’t allowed to be added to membership sites anyway
(contributed directly by the authors themselves), while for
Earn1KaDay I’ll continue to look for the top products that can be
added to a membership site.
Some products will go to both sites, but still, there’s good reason
to belong to both sites if you want the most value. With the
abundance of products with resell rights and private label rights
inside Earn1KaDay, and the quickly growing information goldmine
inside Product Drop, along with the Earn1KaDay community and
support, you’ll be pretty well set.
And for those that mention being overwhelmed by the way the
Earn1KaDay download area is organized (or not so organized),
Product Drop makes it easier to find exactly what you’re looking for.
I haven’t been so excited about a launch since I was planning
Earn1KaDay, and comments from current members don’t help much. For
example one person who joined when I offered the lifetime access a
couple weeks ago said this recently:
“Oh, by the way, with the quality of products in Product Drop, I
believe I’ve recouped my lifetime investment a couple of times over
in less than a couple of weeks.”
Watch for the launch next week to make sure you get in at the
lowest price, or if you think you’ll join and cancel quickly,
the lifetime membership option might make sense:
