So this was the week I dreaded, with the biopsy on Tuesday morning.
I was treated well by the staff at the surgical center, and I took
advantage of the fact that insurance would allow me to get general
anesthesia (total knockout) instead of just local, and it afforded
me a nice little nap and no pain.
Now I wait for 7 to 10 days to get the results back from the lab,
I’m keeping a positive attitude that I’ll be cancer free, but
there’s still that nagging doubt in my head that says “what if”.
If it happens, I deal with it, like other things in my life so far
that I’ve survived, so no big deal.
I’ll let you know what happens, and until then, it’s business as
