On a personal note, a week from today I close on the condo that
I’ve been talking about for over 6 months.
The first one fell through, this one is in the same building, with
a better view, and $26,000 less expensive. It paid to wait.
I’m feeling a little stress about it because of the cost, and the
added monthly expenses for condo fees and taxes, but I know in my
heart it’s a good thing. I’ve always wanted a place by the ocean,
and if my wife and I wanted to, we could retire here if our house
ever gets to be too much work.
We’ll probably use it 2 or 3 weekends a month, occasionally for
longer periods.
I can already visualize my walks on the boardwalk in the mornings,
the sunrises, the relaxing on the balcony overlooking the ocean,
time to write, time to think and reflect, time to recharge the old
batteries.
And fun times with my granddaughter and her parents and relatives
when they come to visit, plus being able to allow them to use it
even when we’re not there.
Due to that, I’m not sure if I’ll be able to get an email out next
week, but I’ll do my best.

Every few months Wil Mattos and Jason Fladlien have what they call
an auction webinar, where they put up products of theirs for huge
discounts, up to 96% this time.
Each product has a short window of 10 to 15 minutes to be scooped
up, and then it’s gone.
This time, they’re also giving out over $10,000 in prizes,
including cash prizes of $1500 and $500, plus a lot more, to those
that get there early and stick around to the end.
It’s tomorrow, Saturday June 9th, 10 a.m. Pacific time (1 p.m.
eastern). I sat through one earlier this year, and it was a lot of
