How do you spell the sound of a deep breath exhaling from your body?
Whatever it is, is how I feel, finally.
One of my most stressful periods of recent memory is finally
passing, as all eventually do.
The condo closing went smoothly last Friday and we moved in (it
came furnished, which was good, but the prior owners sure left a
lot of stuff we need to get rid of, so I’ll be packing it all up
and giving it to the nearby Salvation Army).
My wife’s ailment hasn’t gone away, but it’s better. Hopefully
she’ll feel well enough to travel tomorrow and we’ll go down for a
few days. The weather is supposed to be absolutely perfect.
And the agreement breaking up the partnership between Rachel and me
was signed by both of us yesterday, ending a 22 month adventure.
I’ll miss her, but it feels liberating to be able to make decisions
independently again, good or bad.
That alone should mean good things for Earn1KaDay and Product Drop
members, not because Rachel’s no longer involved but because I
feel a sense of excitement to shake things up a bit again.
Actually, I’m already involved in discussions with a couple people
that have given me ideas about adding value to both sites, in ways
that I haven’t had the energy or enthusiasm to do before.
So… I’ll be busy, and hopefully I can also focus on getting enough
“work” done while I’m at the condo as I can at the office. If nothing
else, it will give me a place to relax, clear my head, think, and
do some writing and product creation that I want to do.
Immediately, I have to focus on getting ready for my speech at Dr.
Ben’s End of the World event and getting all the planning done for
my own seminar.
Plus, I guess, figuring out how to earn a living again, since
things have virtually come to a standstill while Rachel and I have
been negotiating.
I’ll be consolidating a lot of the existing products on the
Nanacast platform. Rachel’s will be coming off, some others will be
retired, and many will be reevaluated as far as pricing (maybe with
a last chance at the current price opportunity).
I also want to freshen up some of the sales pages, which I leaned
on Rachel to do in the past, especially the Earn1KaDay page.
