Hi {!firstname_fix},
It’s Labor Day weekend in the U.S., the unofficial end to summer
2014. What a spectacular summer it’s been here in my part of the
planet.
Which brought to my mind the question, what happened to global
warming? While the weather has been warm here, it hasn’t been
stifling hot. The newspaper reported last Sunday that in 2010 there
were 40 days where temperatures reached 90 degrees or more in the
area, since then there were 20-something days of 90+, and for 2014
there have been 10.
Maybe one more this last week, but wow, quite a change. I don’t
know about the rest of the globe, but certainly the change is
welcome.
Maybe as some suggested, global warming was just a random part of
cycles. Maybe this year was also, only time will tell.
Or maybe things that have been done to prevent worsening of the
crisis are actually working.
How can we relate this to our business? Business goes in cycles
also, often unpredictable, you might get a flurry of activity and
then it slacks off and then comes back. If you can’t trace it to
any cause/effect, like a Google algorithm change or a super
affiliate sending traffic to you, or competition stealing your
thunder, then just keep doing what you’ve been doing successfully
in the past, and you should be OK.
If however, you can identify a cause… if positive take advantage of
it, if negative, take action to alleviate it.
Sounds simple, yes?

Special announcements:
I normally don’t link to discussions in the Facebook group, but
I started a daily topic this morning that I hope provokes some
insightful thinking on everyone’s part.
I wrote: If you absolutely, positively, definitely, no doubt
had to make a $100,000 profit within 90 days… could you?…
would you?
It’s a simple question really, but so very empowering if you
can answer “yes” to it. Maybe you don’t want to push yourself
so much now, but just knowing that you could do it if you had
to will give you so much freedom and confidence.

Also, while I’m at it…
As much as I like to believe that many of the elite Internet
marketers hang out inside Earn1KaDay, I also realize that some have
come to rub shoulders with the more successful here.
And the ones rubbing shoulders are watching for clues and
inspiration about what the others are doing to achieve their
success.
Sometimes watching more than mimicking, unfortunately, and while I
know that doesn’t pertain to you specifically, if you think that
success leaves clues, and if you’d like to follow those clues,
there are plenty of them in the forum.
If you’re still floundering and don’t know where to start, then I
suggest reading my latest book which I put in the download area
this week (No List, No Contacts, No Problem).
It’s been great to read the affiliate promotions about this book,
and even my mentor Sean Mize is promoting it, today’s email headline
called it “lifechanging”, and while I realize it’s coming in the
context of wanting his readers to purchase the book, I still feel
great that he said that.
Even if you are doing sort of OK, some of what’s in the book might
still pertain to you if you have some list and/or some contacts, but
want more.
Read the book and you’ll understand why I say that this book isn’t
just for beginners, or at least read the sales page to see if you
can benefit.
Or… if you’re going full speed ahead in your business, maybe you
know others who aren’t, and can inspire them to pick it up. They
might appreciate the thought.
