Good morning.
It’s spring. It’s May. Why is there a forecast
for possible snow or at least very cold temps
for this weekend where I live?
It’s not right.
There’s a lot that’s not right lately, and for
one, I’m getting tired of it.
Then again, we ARE one week closer to the end
of this horrible part of our existence.
My parents lived through the times of World
War II (my father and many of my uncles fought
in it), and the wives had to stay home and
worry about when it would end.
This pandemic will end quicker than the war
did, I’m sure. We’ll have a vaccine eventually
and that will help.
And my grandparents lived through World War I
and the great depression that followed it.
Hopefully these current economic problems
won’t be that bad. Or…
Maybe they will, but at least people like us
have ways to work for a living without having
to rely on big companies to open back up, like
my grandparents did.
So yes, it’s pretty bad now, but it’s been
worse, and it will be better, hopefully sooner
rather than later.
One good sign is that the stock market is
forecasting that the worst is over, even
though it isn’t over yet.
Stay safe, and stay busy working your business.
This too shall pass.
