Happy Friday and good morning.
I hope you’re doing well. We’re about to
enter the holiday period, starting next
week with Halloween, then Thanksgiving
and Black Friday, Cyber Monday, etc.
What will it be like this year?
Probably more online shopping than in-
person, I think it’s safe to say, which
means you can profit by giving people
opportunities to purchase through you.
And no, you don’t ring up the sales
yourself, but you can help people find
the merchants who do, and get paid for
that function.
It seems so obvious, so simple, but
easy? Nope, not necessarily, especially
since Amazon only has a 24-hour cookie.
But they do have lots of stuff, and so
does Walmart and lots of other retailers
who have affiliate programs.
Now, if you’re selling infoproducts, the
typical consumer won’t be seeking you out
so much, but marketers will, and if you
can put together good deals, or find them,
now is the time to get ready.
On a personal note, as you might remember,
we have a condo at the shore that we go
to every couple weeks for the weekend
most years. It’s a building with 200+
apartments, so a miniature town, I guess
you would say.
I received notice that someone in the
building had contracted the virus within
the last 14 days, so to be aware and to
get tested if we have any symptoms.
It’s been 2 weeks since we were there,
and we weren’t going this weekend anyway,
but it’s still sobering to think that
the elevators and common areas might
have something lurking.
Hopefully the maintenance staff will do
a very deep cleaning, if they haven’t
already.
We always wear masks inside the common
areas, but I’m not sure everyone does.
Suffice to say, the pandemic hasn’t
gone away, so stay safe, and have a
spectacular weekend/week.
