Good morning.
This has definitely not been the best week
imaginable for me.
There was a major snowstorm, forecast to
be a blizzard, that hit us Wednesday night.
It could have been worse, but it was bad
enough. They predicted 14 to 18 inches of
snow for us, but it was only around 8.
I’m thankful for that, because I had to do
the shoveling out myself, since it seems
there are no kids looking for money during
a pandemic, and the guy I used to use
moved to Florida a couple years ago.
Earlier in the week I received word that
my granddaughter and daughter-in-law,
and DIL’s father, had all tested positive
for covid 19. The father had it the worst
and still has issues.
Then yesterday I found out that an aunt
had died in a nursing home from covid, at
the age of 94. She was in great health
up to contracting it on December 11, and
the disease spread through the facility
like a wildfire.
On December 11 there were 9 residents
and 4 staff diagnosed positive, and on
the 16th there were 70+ residents and
40 staff positive. Some including my
aunt had died in that short period.
The tragedy is that they would have
been prioritized for the vaccine if
it had held off a couple weeks.
Then this morning I awoke, tried to
log into my Nanacast platform, and got
a message that the account was suspended.
Not my account… Nanacast. Their hosting
account, I assume.
So all my several hundred pages are
totally down. Well, not the pages
themselves, but all the buy buttons
and optin buttons.
Hopefully that will be very temporary.
So… 2020. Quite a year. I thought it
was near the end of the madness, but it
still has some things to throw at us.
A week from today is Christmas.
And a week from that is 2021.
I can hardly wait.
I wish you a better end-of-year than
I am having, but I know, this too shall
pass, and with everything in chaos around
me/us, we’re still well off, relatively.
