Good morning.
Did you miss me last week? 
Sorry about that, I was in the hospital
briefly with a recurrence (5th time) of
the diverticulosis bleeding that still
hasn’t been solved.
Each time they do a colonoscopy (yuck)
to look around, and each time, since the
bleeding has stopped by then, they can’t
find the culprit. If they could, they
could fix it somehow.
So I wait for the 6th one.
Yes, it’s frustrating, especially since it
was only a little over 2 months since the
last occurrence. In the past they have at
least given me a year or three of respite.
But I could have it far worse, like so
many do, and I’m not going to complain
a lot. I just feel sorry for my wife,
who has to cope with it and worry while
I lie in a hospital bed getting lots of
sleep.
I’m back, and going to go to the shore
for the weekend. The weather isn’t
supposed to be as hot as last weekend,
so I’m not sure if that’s good or bad.
I continue to thank the universe and
anyone else involved that make it possible
to earn a living, even when I’m sort of
incapacitated, and also in an age where
excellent medical care is available.
Anyway, I hope your week has been great
and that your weekend will be spectacular.

hospital briefly this time, I didn’t miss
