Good morning. I hope you’re enjoying a
great week.
When I was employed and worked at a
regular company, I remember we really
used to look forward to Friday.
Usually a bunch of friends and I would
cash our weekly paychecks and meet up
at a local hotel lounge and have a few
adult beverages during happy hour,
listen to the music, maybe do a little
dancing, and then get something
to eat.
We loved the tradition.
Now, it’s just a faded memory, but I
still enjoy Fridays, not because it’s
the end of the work week, since I do
come to the office on Saturday morning
also, but just because it’s Friday.
I also get to recap all the things
that were accomplished during the week
in emails like this, so that’s a good
thing, whether many actually read the
emails or not.
If you look back through the blog
archives, you’ll see many hundreds
of Friday emails, and put end to end
I wonder how many pages it would take.
Progress. Week after week. Since 2007
when this site first got off the ground
as an experiment.
That’s the way life evolves. You keep
putting one foot in front of the other,
and whether you blog or send emails about
it or not, things happen.
Hopefully those things are positive,
but if not, they’re learning experiences,
aren’t they?
