Good morning.
I got up earlier than normal this morning
to go to the doctor’s office for my first
procedure.
It’s called a capsule endoscopy, you can
look it up online if you are interested.
On Tuesday I’ll have an upper
endoscopy and will be sedated for
that one.
So, I have to wear this contraption all
day that houses a data recorder, taking
images of my innards that are being beamed
to it by a capsule that I swallowed, which
contains a light, a camera, and an antenna.
The recorder contraption is bigger than
I was led to believe, and the capsule
was also. They said the size of a large
vitamin pill. Multiply that by 2 or 3
and yep, that’s about right. 
In 15 minutes or so I can finally start
drinking water again. That will be so
welcome.
At the end of the day I return the
contraption, thank goodness, and get
on with life. I think it’s a good day
for some cake.
They said I don’t have to return the
capsule, thank goodness.
In between, I’m trying to concentrate
on business and my Friday routines,
like this email.
Definitely this will be a nap day
when I get home.
