Good morning.
Another week, another medical procedure.
That’s it for now, I guess. My wife said
the doctor’s office called and wanted me
to schedule a colonoscopy next, but I think
she mixed up the message, and it was her
that needed to schedule that.
Phew! I’ve already had 2 this year.
Anyway, the latest procedure showed no
reason for the bleeding from that part
of the body, so I continue to watch what
I eat and drink and hope it doesn’t happen
again, though it’s happened 5 times already.
Such is life. It could be worse.
I’ve outlived both of my parents by quite
a bit, so I consider myself blessed.
I do have a long ways to go to reach my
maternal grandmother’s age, though. I
wonder if her longevity had anything to
do with the fact that she was the only
entrepreneur in the family, and as far
as I know never held down a “job” that
was traditional in her era.
Coincidence? Maybe not.
