Good morning.
Another summer has unofficially
passed us by.
The 2nd summer of COVID, which still
lingers on.
These were the golden years that I
envisioned many years ago? Not likely.
Oh well… My medical procedures’
results came back as normal. It is not
what I wanted to hear, but whatever…
Tomorrow is the 20th anniversary of
9/11. I can remember it as if it was
only yesterday.
I remember I was alerted by an email
from my son, and I had my wife turn
on the TV in our store, and watched
in disbelief as the events played out.
I think we might have had one customer
in our store that day. Everyone was
glued to their TVs and radios.
Will we forget it eventually, much
like we’ve forgiven (but not forgotten)
about the attack on Pearl Harbor?
I will never forget.
An entire generation has come into
the world that wasn’t around that
day. Will what’s in history books
and especially on TV and social
media mean anything to them?
I wonder.
Anyway, have a great week and take
advantage of the rest of the official
summer nice weather.
