Good morning from warm, wet and windy
New Jersey. I’ve been told that it will
start to get much colder very soon, but
today’s weather is causing lots of leaves
to fall, finally.
My excitement of the day is hopefully
getting my new treadmill delivered,
installed, and the old one hauled away.
My old one lasted more than 10 years,
well worth the investment, and died
about the time the pandemic started.
I hesitated getting it repaired or
replaced during the lockdown period
for fear of having strangers inside
the house.
And then I ordered 2 small ones from
a Facebook ad, shipped from China, and
was sent 2 jump ropes instead. 
Quite the scam they had going and
fortunately I paid with PayPal and
had the charges reversed quickly.
So eventually I did pay for a new
motor and installation, and that was
to no avail. It still didn’t work.
So this time I opted for a new model,
this time from Best Buy, paying extra
for delivery, assembly, and haul away
of the old one, which happens this
afternoon.
I need the exercise, I’ve gained
weight during the pandemic, and the
holidays always add more, so here
we go!
