Good morning.
I really want to drive down to our
condo at the shore this morning, and
the weather is really not conducive
to being on the roads.
Normally, it’s not a priority, but
we’re selling the property, and this
weekend will be our last one there,
because Monday we’ll sign the documents
at the title company and turn over the
keys.
What to do, what to do… hopefully
it will warm up a little so it’s not
mostly icy rain and not snow.
Yesterday was quite a day in the
financial markets, both stocks and
crypto.
The Russian invasion of Ukraine
spooked everyone, but the markets
came mostly back by the end of the
day.
Could this be the beginning of
World War 3? I sure hope not,
obviously.
For now I’ll just keep doing what
I always do, and pray that nobody
gets too crazy with pushing buttons
and all that. I would love to go a
lifetime without a world war (just
missed the last one).
The good news is that it seems that
Covid is going away. Not entirely, but
more like the flu. People die from the
flu every year in big numbers, and now
this, but they say in the news that it
has just about reached endemic level.
About time, it’s been more than 2 full
years getting there.
