Good morning.
For those who celebrate, Happy
Easter and Passover.
Weather here has been wonderful,
I hope it has been for you also.
For a sports fan like me, it
has been fun. Baseball season
started and my team is winning.
Basketball season is entering
playoff time, and my team is
in contention.
I say “my team”, not because I
own the teams, of course, but I
do have a rooting interest.
And tomorrow starts a new USFL
era (United States Football League).
I remember the first USFL, and the
team with the same name as now, the
New Jersey Generals. I bought season
tickets for my family, back in the
80s, I think. It was a lot of fun
because it was quality time together
and the weather tended to be very
nice for the games.
That team was owned by Donald Trump…
Yep, that Donald Trump.
This team… I don’t know who owns
it, and don’t really care.
For some reason people here in
the U.S. can’t get enough football.
Anyway, yep, it’s been a good start
to spring, and I hope you’re having
fun also.
My wife wants us to get some azaleas
for the front of our house, so we’ll
probably do that tomorrow.
I do lead an exciting life.
