Good morning.
Wow, November already. Where did
2022 go to?
Halloween is over. I almost panicked
on Halloween afternoon and was going
to buy more candy in case we had a
crowd, but the store had run out of
everything.
Turns out, the crowd was one little
girl before dark and then no one.
Live and learn, I guess. Maybe the
town had something like a trunk or
treat going on, I don’t know, but
the street was empty, even though
the weather was magnificent.
So now we have a few days to get
through to Election Day. I will
be so glad to get that over with
and all the negative ads on TV,
radio, and in my mailbox. Yuck.
The weather here has been just
plain unbelievable. Normally by
Halloween we have at least had
a frost, if not a snowstorm,
but this week and early next
at least, the temps will be in
the 70s (Fahrenheit, of course).
The leaves started falling in
bunches finally this last week.
So now comes Thanksgiving, Black
Friday, and the December and
year-end holidays. Are you ready,
if you have sites about those
events?
My wife is getting stronger every
day, by the way. Her at-home
physical therapist told her that
next week his work with her will
be done.
I’ve had some issues myself and
had a major scare this week with
the rectal bleeding that has put
me in the hospital several times
before, but I decided to be stupid
and hope it would go away, since
the last couple times the bleeding
had stopped by the time I was able
to get the CAT scan in the hospital.
It did go away, and I treated myself
at home the same way they would have
done there. Lots of rest, clear
liquid diet, etc.
Honestly, I couldn’t afford to let
my wife be alone in her condition.
I’ll admit, I was sweating bullets
that night.
Anyway, life goes on, the forum
continues to get more and more
good stuff posted, so let’s look…
